"Stad_ko might be onto something, as a small family outfit of Hayley Bartholomaeus and partner Anton Stadniczenko from Martinborough also did well last year with their (2022) Chardonnay making top 10. This is another crackers, showing just how good (and affordable) well-made personable label - minus a bit of corporate waffle - can be. "This is just gorgeous" was the start of Weir's tasting notes. Notes of cranberry, musk, herbal aromas and dark, bramble fruits. Juicy and complex. All from a family-run vineyard just south of Martinborough Town." - Metro Magazine Wine Awards
